What I’m Into Right Now:

I apologize for the lack of posts as of recent, my end-of-summer schedule got the best of me. So, I thought I’d do a little post about what I’m into right now in the realms of skincare, literature, etc. Enjoy!

Embryolisse Cream: I now understand why everyone sings such high praises for Embryolisse Creme Concentre. It is truly the perfect day or night moisturizer. I mix a little with my Arcona Peptide Hydrating Complex (which wasn’t emoillent enough for my skin as a moisturizer although I adore it as a treatment) and voila, perfect dewy, hydrated skin; no breakouts, no mid-day oil slick. I’ll definitely alternate this with Creme de la Mer come wintertime. (PS: It’s only $24 a tube, which could last quite some time!)

Music for Chameleons by Truman Capote: I love a good collection of short stories and essays, these in particular are quite flawless. I haven’t had the to delve into a good novel lately so Music for Chameleons has made the perfect summer read, easy to pick up whenever.

Harvey & Sons Paris Tea: Paris is perfect for a blck tea lover like myself. It is slightly fruity with hints of lemon, bergamont, and vanilla. It’s becoming a new favorite of mine.

Alterna Bamboo Kendi Oil: I let a sample of this treatment sit amongst other discarded freebies for months before I decided to give it a go. I do not know much about Alterna, I tried the Caviar Overnight Repair treatment over the winter but that has been my only experience with the brand. Anyways, my dried out summer strands needed some help. I decided to out a few drops in my hair one evening, I fell in love with the fresh scent immediately. Then, in the morning I awoke to surprisingly smooth, managable, shiny hair. I’ve been in love ever since.

By Terry Browth Booster Mascara: There are tons of lash growth gimmicks on the market right now, I hadn’t given into one until this came along. I figured that if I can trust anyone, it’s probably Terry de Gunzberg, founder of By Terry and creator of Yves Saint Laurent’s cult-status miracle Touch Eclat. The formula is filled with glycoproteins and collagen to boost growth and give you stronger silkier lashes. I have noticed a difference in length and volume (I guess my boyfriend did too, last night after I took off my makeup he said the my eyelashes looked really long, so there you go).
